New Charlie Photos - Just for Lee

My sister asked for some new pictures of Charlie. She wore the hat out today, and it looked cute so we left it on her (the blue really makes her eyes pop). I made the pants. They were not part of her original outfit - she pooped in those pants. Charlie has blown out more in 10 weeks than B ever did.

Here is a self portrait of B.

Has Spring Sprung?

Since it was nice today, we headed over to the park. We are all a bit wonky from the time change, so I thought getting fresh air and sunshine would be good! We had fun. OK, B had fun. I pushed the swing and jiggled Charlie.

James Street Rehab - Update

The house is almost finished. Some painting outside, and the bath inside. I think it looks pretty good. I am happy Mike picked grey for the siding. And I love the new bath floor. But why didn't we add heat underneath?

Pictures of Charlie (We Went to the Pediatrician Today

I took Charlie for a well-visit today. Hence the fancy clothes. She weighs 12 lbs 9 oz and is 24 inches long. And the doctor says, very strong. So, I guess Charlie is the brawn to B's brains.

Charlie is 8 Weeks Old Today! (2 Months Old in 3 Days!)

Hard to believe, it has only been 8 weeks. Feels like 8 months. Imagine what it would feel like if she wasn't a decent sleeper (I am knocking on wood now).

Charlie is happiest on her changing mat.
Weird, but true.

Doing her baby push-ups.

These are "Rocky" style. (One handed).

With her big sister B. Charlie is a long
baby. Either that or B is a little girl.
Probably a little of both.

I Made These! Vacation OUtfits for Charlie

Here are two more outfits for Charlie. They were pretty easy. Thank God! They did take a while considering I sew for 10 minutes at a time. Whenever Charlie sleeps in bed or Mike is home. I have a couple of things to make for B, but first I need to buy a new iron. Isabel knocked mine off the ironing board and cracked the water reservoir. Hard to iron with water leaking everywhere!

Blue is Charlie's color, so, everything I made is blue. I do have some lavender fabric to make her a pinafore set for the summer. And I also have some t-rex material for B, I don't what to do with it, but I will find a pattern some day.

I love the bloomers under the dress. It was my first
attempt at making bias tape (for around the leg openings).
The dress pattern is from Leila and Ben off Etsy, and the
bottoms are a pattern from a Lotta Jansdotter Baby Book.

This is just a onesie that got a Wonder-Undered
starfish. The bloomers are the same ones I made for
for the fish pinafore.
